Poinsettias, Kalanchoes, Begonias and Chrysanthemums… ALL ABOARD
This was an event designed for Missouri Botanical Garden. Every year the garden has an event that goes with The Garden Glow every November through December. This year the theme was “Home for the Holidays plant families around the world”. with that in mind, the look was designed to show different plant families and what countries those plant families belong to. Using iconic illustrations, vibrant colors, and beautiful typography the look of the entire show was developed.
Although plants from these families are native to many regions around the world, their relatives often find homes in North America during the holidays. Poinsettias, kalanchoes, begonias, and chrysanthemums, burst with color during the winter and help celebrate the holiday season in the Garden.
Plants play an important role in the world’s ecosystems and provide us with essential resources. Wild plants can catch the attentionof humans and be brought into cultivation. Discover the native environments in which some of our favorite holiday plants grow.
We hope your visit today is enriching and that you’re inspired to keep exploring, learning about, and caring for plants in the natural world we all share. We thank you for visiting us today!
